Round trip transportation is provided and you will be picked up at your hotel and go to the Quepos’s pier. You will paddle a kayak for approximately 2 ½ hours (round trip), during your nautical journey you will navigate past islands where you can observe uncountable marine birds and their nesting grounds. Halfway through your trip, you will stop at a beautifully hidden bay – Biesanz Bay – to rest and enjoy a refreshing snack.

During the 30 minute stop, you can snorkel on this secluded coastline or just have a rest. Water visibility depends on the season. You are most likely to spot parrotfish, starfish, angelfish, and if you are lucky a sea turtle or two! This challenging Manuel Antonio tour allows you to discover stunning examples of nature, above and below the ocean’s surface; from pelicans to flying fish, you can see it all! Upon returning to the pier, you’ll head back to base camp to enjoy a little conversation over a delicious homemade meal.

Kayaks are available for 1 or 2 passengers. Kids must be at least 8 years old to paddle alone. This Manuel Antonio tour does not require previous experience.

Cruise along Costa Rica’s Central Pacific coastline and keep your eyes peeled for frolicking dolphins, floating turtles, soaring boobie and frigate birds and maybe even a humpback whale or orca! The coast along Manuel Antonio is filled with rock outcroppings and volcanic pinnacles that provide a home and nesting ground for a variety of bird species. Cut through the Pacific water with ease in a stable catamaran with plenty of cover if you need a little shade throughout the trip. Your vessel will stop at pristine Biesanz Bay, and set anchor in a beautiful, protected cove protected from the wind, making it easy to snorkel and swim. You don’t have to worry if you didn’t pack any snorkeling gear because masks, snorkels and fins are provided by your crew. Spend some time looking at the colorful tropical fish below the surface. While you are out enjoying yourself, the crew will be preparing a delicious meal.

After you get underway, you will motor sail past some of the many pristine beaches along the coast.  Snorkel, relax or try your luck by casting a line.
Once at the meeting point at the beach you will board skiffs that take you to the Catamaran and once onboard you will be given a short safety briefing. After you are underway, you will sail along enjoying the gentle breezes.  Snorkeling equipment is provided and guests are given an hour or so to swim among the rocky reefs looking for colorful fish and rays.

Kids will have a blast snorkeling in calm, crystal-clear waters or running along a deserted white-sand beach. Meanwhile, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the breathtaking views with a refreshing tropical drink prepared by the friendly crew.

After all the fun, gather around for a delicious meal that everyone will love— a feast of BBQ chicken, yellow Spanish rice, fruit, chips, black bean puree, pico de gallo, and homemade chocolate chip cookies.

Following lunch, we pull anchor, raise the sails and casually sail across the bay. On the afternoon tour, you will anchor in a pristine location as the sun nears the horizon and the sky explodes into a multitude of colors.  Guests will disembark just as the sun sinks below the horizon, boarding the skiff that will take you to the awaiting ground transport to your hotel.
