Ecoglide Young Family Fun Canopy Tour

Family adventure begins on this Ecoglide Canopy tour as your family gets fitted for harnesses, helmets and clipped onto the ¨School Cable¨ where you´ll begin to zooming zipline tour!

Your family will be picked up at your hotel and driven to park where you´ll begin our Ecoglide Canopy Tour. This is a safe, short yet spectacular tour for the youngest adventure seeker in the family. This is the only canopy tour in the area that consists of two cables, one sliding and the other independent cable for greater security for the riders.

Our  Ecoglide Canopy tour begins with a guided safety demonstration that will introduce riders to ziplining allowing each rider to get comfortable hanging and zooming along the cable. The course consists of 12 cables and 14 platforms. This is a great tour for families who are short on time and looking for an incredible canopy experience, a couple of hours max in duration.

The route is divided into two parts, the first consists of 6 cables and 7 platforms nestled into the trees where you´ll have greater contact with nature. The Central Plain of the Northern Zone, the Arenal Volcano and the town of La Fortuna are all visible during this section of the tour. Families can experience a new world with views from up above!

Starting off the second part of the tour, family members have the option of trying out the ¨Tarzan Swing.¨ Imagine soring almost 40 meters high into the canopy on a rope tied to a tree! This is a great place to stop and rest mid-tour. Those who opt out of the Tarzan Swing are the onlookers for those taking flight. A great point in the tour to take some epic family photos.

Next, your family will cross a 40-meter suspension bridge where you´ll reach speeds of up to 60km/h on the remaining 6 cables. The cables range in length from 100 meters to 430 meters and an average height of 25 meters. These cables will bring your back down to the ground where you can share all your favorite memories with each other.

Families will have an opportunity to view photos while enjoying a beverage after an epic canopy adventure. Transportation back to your hotel is provided.

What families love about this tour! This tour is great for families with young kids or kids of mixed ages. The minimum age to participate is 3. Young riders will go in tandem with an experienced kid-friendly guide throughout the tour. Families will be together on platforms but will zipline as individuals (tandem for small kids). Older kids love the Tarzan Swing! They are usually the first in line to try with Mom or dad right behind!
