Giddy Up, it’s time to gallop amid rainforest on this COSTA RICA FOR KIDS Family Horseback riding tour in Manuel Antonio! Imagine trotting through the lush mountain and forest areas where you’ll see impressive trees, a variety of birds such as toucans, frogs, lizards, and many more animals that inhabit the mountain area.
A driver will be at your hotel to greet your family and take you on a 40-minute drive to the area of Londres, your tour destination! A local guide will give you an interesting briefing about the history of Quepos as you pass through the city. Once you reach Londres you will set foot on a picturesque private mountain estate, where each family member will saddle up for the tour! Our stable manager will advise all riders on how to best ride the horse and give a brief explanation of the entire tour.

Each rider will receive riding instruction, safety tips, and practice time, before heading out to explore the rainforest. It is important for riders to feel safe and comfortable.
This tour allows you to uncover the exotic secrets that lie within this secondary rainforest of Manuel Antonio. The maximum altitude of this area is 600 meters (1900 ft). You will ride through the mountains without reaching the mountaintop. Your horse ride lasts about 2 and half hours(round trip) and it will be highlighted by amazing valley views, verdant vegetation, and numerous wildlife species such as birds and reptiles. At the end of the trail, there is a beautiful waterfall where you will be able to rest for about 30 minutes. You can lie on the grass or take a swim or even both! After the break, you will return to riding the same trail. At the end of your horseback riding tour, you will be served a delicious lunch made with local ingredients and enjoy a little conversation before heading back to your hotel.
