On this COSTA RICA FOR KIDS Manuel Antonio National Park Tour, you will definitely want to keep your eyes open because there are tons of cool critters to see. Be sure to stay close to your experienced naturalist guide, because he will carry a high-powered spotting scope that will allow you a chance to see a greatly magnified view of whatever he or she finds along the hike.
Start your day in the morning, when your guide picks you up from your hotel. After a short drive, you arrive at the scenic park that sits right on the beach. Because Manuel Antonio National Park sits at sea level, it is easy to hike. The park is bordered by the Pacific Ocean and the primary rainforest and mangrove forest inside the park offer a haven to more than 100 species of mammals. Packs of howler monkeys are frequently seen in the park and it is also home to the highly endangered squirrel monkey.
*At the end of the tour of Manuel Antonio National Park, you will have a chance to hydrate with a bottle of water and a fresh fruit snack before you take the drive back to your hotel.
*NOTE: If you want to stay at the beach after the tour is over, just let the guide know that you will catch a taxi on your own to get back to the hotel. This beautiful beach is a great spot for you and your family to enjoy some time on the white sand beach that sits just outside the park’s entrance.
