Welcome to Costa Rica!
After arriving into Liberia, you’ll meet your private driver and begin the scenic journey inland toward La Fortuna, home of the iconic Arenal Volcano.
As the landscape changes from Guanacaste’s dry tropical forest into lush rainforest, you’ll start getting your first real taste of Costa Rica.
Arrive in La Fortuna with time to settle into your hotel, enjoy the pool, or relax in the hot springs.

Arenal Highlights
Spend the day exploring some of Arenal’s most beautiful rainforest scenery. Your morning begins with a guided walk through the famous hanging bridges, where you’ll experience the rainforest from above while spotting wildlife along the way. Later, cool off at a nearby waterfall with natural swimming pools before enjoying a relaxed local lunch.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace:

Head to the Beach: Sámara
Today you’ll leave the rainforest behind and head toward Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.
Enjoy the changing scenery along the drive before arriving in the relaxed beach town of Sámara.
Once you arrive, the pace naturally slows down. Spend the afternoon settling into your hotel, enjoying the beach, or relaxing by the pool.

Sámara Beach Day + Surf Lesson
Today you’ll experience one of the things Sámara is known for—surfing. With gentle waves and beginner-friendly conditions, it’s one of the best places in Costa Rica for families to learn.
