Karla Esquivel

Karla is an adventure lover at heart, who can be found watching the sunsets over the mountains and into the sea from her favorite place in Costa Rica. For over a decade, Karla has spent her time working in tourism throughout the country. She was born and raised in rural areas surrounding the Arenal Volcano. She spent her childhood playing in a tropical playground with a volcano at its peak. Karla loves seeing life through the eyes of children. She can be found exploring Costa Rica with her family including her young son. Karla’s favorite place to visit is Monteverde. She loves hiking through the cloud forest with her son, a perfect hike for families with young children. In the cloud forest, you can hike at your leisure, stop to look at beautiful flora and fauna as well as spot abundant wildlife. Karla has had the opportunity to travel extensively within Costa Rica, seeking the best experiences for families with kids of all ages.
